About Me

Hi, I'm Grace, a lifetime succulent lover and the lead editor of Plant Succulents.

In 2018, I was running my hardware startup and felt burned out. That's when I discovered succulents and fell in love with these unique plants. I started studying, growing, and propagating them. Succulents helped me get through a tough time in my life, providing a necessary distraction from my intense startup experience and teaching me patience as I watched their slow growth.

Like many succulent enthusiasts, I enjoyed collecting plants from all over the world, including Korea, Europe, and Central America. At one point, I had almost 200 plants, which became somewhat out of control, but in a good way. I started giving away succulents to friends and even ran a plant business.

My favorite succulents are Lithops, Conophytum, and Haworthia.

Through all these experiences, I have learned a lot about succulents, and now I wanted to share this with other succulent lovers like me, which led to the creation of Plant Succulents in 2022.
